Gabrielle de Val & The Dragonlords – ‘Tiger’

Okay, first question/answer out of the way; no, this is not the second Gabrielle de Val solo album (‘Cry Wolf’ will be released in early 2025).

Second question…why “& The Dragonlords? Quite simply, this is a selection of songs that includes Gabrielle de Val, as well as lead vocals from some of those singers that appeared on her ‘Kiss In A Dragon Night’ album.

We see Gabrielle doing a duet with Elinor Asp on the wonderful title track, a cover of ABBA’s ‘Tiger’ from their ‘Arrival’ album.

Then we have Mick Devine doing an incredible Rock version of one of Executive Producer Bruce Mee's favourite pop tracks, Chesney Hawke’s ‘The One And Only’.

Last In Line’s Andrew Freeman joins Gabrielle for the Magnum track, ‘Midnight (You Won’t Be Sleeping)’.

Also included are two original tracks sung by MSG’s Robin McAuley, alongside three originals by Gabrielle herself.

Steve Overland sings a track that first appeared on an album by The Val, ‘Pay For the Lonely Nights’ while Mark Boals takes on ‘When Midnight Comes’.

So, plenty of great songs, world-class vocalists and just a whole bunch of fun!
