Invasion stands as a beacon of independent Norwegian heavy metal prowess. With a bold and contemporary interpretation of the genre, Invasion crafts metal music with unapologetic fervor and innovation.
Formed after Adrian and Jørgen crossed paths at the Norwegian metal festival Karmøygeddon in May 2022, Invasion's inception stemmed from a serendipitous encounter. Adrian reached out to Jørgen to collaborate on vocal melodies and lyrics for what would become the tracks Turning The Tide and Wings Of Steel, both featured on their first self-titled album.
Comprising seasoned musicians who have graced stages alongside luminaries such as JORN, Åge Steen Nilsen (Wig Wam), and other esteemed Norwegian acts, Invasion brings a wealth of experience to their craft. Their eponymous debut album, released on May 19th, 2023, boasts nine original compositions.
Adding to the anticipation, the band's first single from the second album, titled ALL FOR ALL, released on April 3rd, 2024. This landmark release marked Invasion's inaugural foray into the realm of music videos, further solidifying their place as trailblazers in the metal scene.
Invasion is gearing up for the release of their highly anticipated album Invasion 2, set to drop on August 21. Excitement is building as the band drops teasers and singles ahead of the launch. The album, which promises to be a powerhouse of metal music, features singles such as All For All, Banshee Queen, and Hungry for Love—all of which have already received enthusiastic praise from fans and critics alike.
To celebrate the release of Invasion 2, Invasion is throwing some awesome concerts. The party starts at Sarpsborg Scene on August 23, then moves to Aladdin Scene in Halden on August 24, and ends at Martins in Lillestrøm on August 31. If these tracks are anything to go by, Invasion 2 is going to be a big hit, making Invasion an even bigger name in the metal & rock scene.
