Quartz To Release New Album 'Six'

Four men with guitars on stage, wearing "Quartz" shirts, raise arms in front of a cheering crowd. The mood is celebratory and energetic.

From Birmingham, the Home of Heavy Metal, QUARTZ have a long and established pedigree in the music business spanning over six decades now.

Their debut album in 1977 (released on Jet Records) was produced by Tony Iommi. During this time, the band gigged extensively, honing their craft having major support slots with the likes of AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Rush, UFO and many others.

There seems to be no stopping the band at the moment as QUARTZ are to release the band's own production CD titled “SIX” on Thursday, 17th April 2025 which is their sixth studio album containing twelve new tracks, and it will be distributed by Cargo Records (UK).

The QUARTZ back catalogue is quite extensive, listen to Satan's Serenade EP, Stand Up & Fight and Against All Odds LPS if you are not already familiar with them. Since reforming in 2012, the band have released two further studio albums, namely "Fear No Evil" and "On The Edge Of No Tomorrow".

Six fierce wolves with glowing red eyes snarl in a dark, twisted forest. Red light illuminates them. Text reads "Quartz" and "SIX".
