Teiger announce the release of their eponymous debut album on September 8th via Borderland Audio.

To celebrate, Teiger unveil a video for new single and crowd favourite “The Law Of Diminishing Returns”. The track’s spirited vocals contrast with the dark lyrical imagery, while crunchy, off-kilter melodic guitar soars over a hypnotic bassline and thunderous drums. Feast your eyes on the video.

With a fast-growing reputation as one of THE bands to see, Teiger (pronounced “tiger”) have proven to be an enigma on the music scene. The London trio’s bewitching sound is unlike anything else around right now, bringing together alt rock anthems and delicate touches that provoke, attack, and captivate.

Featuring the singles ‘Hydra’, ‘Come and Find Me’ and the new single ‘The Law Of Diminishing Returns’, the album was recorded at Foel Studio (Porcupine Tree, Dresden Dolls, The Wildhearts), and mastered by David Castillo (Opeth, Katanonia). Each single has brought critical acclaim, suggesting that their self-titled debut will have a lot to say when it lands.

Teiger takes you into an immersive and unsettling world where nothing is quite what it seems, with tracks that you will want to explore again and again, new layers revealing themselves each time. Rarely does any sort of rock get paired with siren-like vocals without the pretence of “female-fronted rock band”, yet singer and guitarist Talie Rose Eigeland is no cookie-cutter front person. The unique electric-acoustic guitar sounds shine though, coupled to a sonic landscape created by hypnotic percussion from Jon Steele, and the complex bass of Phillip Eldridge-Smith.

Supported by a nationwide tour concluding with a launch night at Camden’s famed Underworld on September 7th, ‘Teiger’ is promoting a visceral reaction. This is an album (and a band) worth keeping ahead of.
