Following the success of their sixth album, ‘Electrified’, Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown return with a brand-new single and video, “Bloodshot Baby.”

Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown are back with a high-energy blast of pure rock and roll. Their latest single, Bloodshot Baby, pays homage to the genre’s founding legends and golden era while delivering the band’s signature grit and intensity. Accompanied by a new music video, the track is a celebration of unfiltered, no-frills rock meant to be played loud.

Tyler explains, “‘Bloodshot Baby’ is our tip of the hat to some of the original pioneers of rock and roll. Little Richard, Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee… Those guys sounded like they were having the most fun, and we wanted in. We aren’t tryin’ to reinvent the wheel, but we figured we’d at least give it a good spin!”

He adds, “When it came time to tear down the studio that’s been our creative home for so long, we decided we needed to send it off with some straight-up rock and roll that would best be enjoyed loud.

“Bloodshot Baby” embodies the unapologetic spirit of rock, both musically and lyrically. Reflecting on the track’s meaning, Bryant shares, “‘She don’t wanna hear it if you can’t make it rock’ is a line that most certainly makes me think of my wife. She is the hundred-watt lady I’m singin’ ‘bout, for sure.”

Their last album, ‘Electrified’, received widespread critical acclaim. Classic Rock named it one of the best albums of 2024, stating, “They remain one of the best little bands in the world.” RushonRock hailed it as “a work of undeniable genius,”.
